Welcome to the new and improved website, internet. I imported a few old blog posts from the 2012 website, just to fill up some space until I can get more content up here. As you may have noticed, the new website comes with a new pseudonym. My initials + continuing the lines of the S to form my favorite number, create the creative hour of the beast. And that beast is in the form of an octopus. yeah, my favorite animal. You must be thinking pretty cool, right? Well you are wrong. its fucking awesome. Did you just scoff? whatever, internet. You cant hurt me…. I will be getting the site up and running very soon, dont you worry. And please make sure to check out my blog ramblings, they will be much more than work updates. I cant really tell you anything right now, but lets just say Nic Cage and unicorns are involved….

Soundset 2012

Greetings from Buffalo NY. My cousin just graduated from UB, so im here to celebrate. I recently just finished the SoundSet 2012 promo video for Rhymesayers Entertainment, and that went live today, so go check it out and see whos performing this year! It is really fun to work with RSE, and I hope to do it a lot more in the future.
The design and direction was a collaboration with Adam Garcia of The Pressure. Take a look at his work. It is nothing short of outstanding. If youre from the MN area, dont miss the must see hip-hop event of the summer! This year will be the best one yet. Checkout the full lineup in the promo video below.

Black Collar Launch Party

What an amazing launch party. So much fun, so much awesome work. We had a great turn out for the launch and it seems that a lot of people are very interested in what we are doing. Im really excited to be a part of such a talented and hard working collaborative. For those who are not familiar with Black Collar, we are a design and print studio based in downtown Minneapolis. The collaborative is comprised of 13 artists from various backgrounds and mediums. If you get a chance, stop by the website and take a look at our current collection. Each design is a one-off, so once they sell out, they are gone forever!

End of the Holidays

I finally got rid of that holiday reel. Not really sure why I made one in the first place. Ive done some mini updates to the website, including the addition of the Buffalo Wild Wings spot I worked on, and the letterpress poster I did. I am going to try and get photographs of the actual poster soon and post them in there as well. I found some of my work on YouTube that Best Buy posted, so I embedded those videos respectively. I am almost done with the re-brand package for Further Performance, so I’m excited to get that up here as well. And last but not least, the first Black Collar shirt i designed is printed, and it looks great! I will be posting photos of that soon as well.
